The 2025/2026 biathlon season, with the Olympic Games in Antholz as the highlight
The 2025/26 Biathlon World Cup will run from November 2025 to March 2026. The highlight of the season will be the Olympic Games in Antholz in February.
As a sponsor of the French biathlon team, we will be cheering on not only the German athletes but also the French team in particular this season.

Beyond the successes in the individual World Cup events, the season rankings were the ultimate reward for an outstanding winter:
Lou Jeanmonnot secured the overall World Cup title in the women’s standings, whilst Eric Perrot claimed the men’s overall title – both with a clear lead over their nearest rivals.

A brilliant start to the biathlon season with RWS – France takes 8 podium places
The new 2025/26 biathlon season has just begun — and the French team is already in impressive form.
At the first stop in Östersund (29 November–7 December 2025), France managed to play to its strengths, particularly in the relay and pursuit competitions.
Outstanding successes for France at the Biathlon World Cup in Östersund
- The season kicked off with two brilliant starts: a victory for the women's relay team and silver for the men's relay team — a statement and a clear signal to the competition.
- In the mixed relay, France secured gold once again, underlining its strong team spirit and outstanding form at the start of the season.
- Quentin Fillon Maillet provided the highlight in the pursuit: after a rather bumpy start with shooting errors in the prone position, he fought his way through the standing shooting — flawless in the decisive final shot — and secured his first ever victory in Östersund.
- Four bronze medals in the single mixed relay, women's 15km individual race, women's 7.5km individual sprint and men's sprint.

Éric Perrot wins gold and silver in Hochfilzen
The men’s competitions also saw outstanding results for France. Éric Perrot crowned a remarkable weekend by winning gold in the 12.5 km pursuit. Earlier, he had already demonstrated his excellent form by securing silver in the 10 km sprint.

Completing the successful World Cup weekend, the French men’s relay team captured silver in the 4 × 7.5 km relay. Fabien Claude, Quentin Fillon Maillet, Emilien Jacquelin and Éric Perrot impressed with a strong and well-coordinated team performance.

Triumphant days in Annecy – France's biathletes thrill millions of spectators!
The Biathlon World Cup in Annecy-Le Grand Bornand in December 2025 was an impressive demonstration of what RWS stands for in international competitive sports: maximum precision, absolute reliability and mental strength.
In front of their home crowd, the athletes of the French team supported by RWS delivered outstanding performances and secured seven medals in six competitions.
- 18 December 2025 – Women's 7.5 km sprint | Silver – Lou Jeanmonnot
With maximum concentration and excellent control at the shooting range, Lou Jeanmonnot opened the World Cup weekend in Annecy. Her silver medal was the first emotional proof of how crucial precision is under competitive pressure.
- 19 December 2025 – Men's 10 km sprint | Bronze – Émilien Jacquelin
Émilien Jacquelin put in a courageous, focused performance and was rewarded with bronze. His performance impressively underlined the importance of confidence, consistency and absolute reliability in top-level sport.

French Biathlon Team celebrates medal success in Oberhof 2026
The Biathlon World Cup in Oberhof (8–11 January 2026) once again offered top-class winter sports under challenging conditions.
The French biathlon team impressed with consistently strong performances and secured three medals.

With a convincing performance in the 7.5 km sprint, Julia Simon won the first medal for France in Oberhof.
- 10 January 2026 – Women's relay (4x6 km) | Gold – Lou Jeanmonnot, Océane Michelon, Julia Simon, Justine Braisaz-Bouchet
The French women's relay team dominated the race with precise shooting and a fast running pace. In the end, it was a well-deserved victory and the gold medal for Team France.

With an impressive double victory, Éric Perrot and Émilien Jacquelin dominated the Short Individual and sent a strong signal early on for Team France.
- 23 January 2026 – Women's 12.5 km Short Individual | Gold & Silver – Justine Braisaz-Bouchet & Lou Jeanmonnot
The French biathletes clearly dominated the race and celebrated another double victory with gold and silver.

Strong World Cup weekend for the French biathlon team
The French biathlon team continued its successful season in impressive fashion at the World Cup in Kontiolahti, Finland.
With several podium finishes in individual and relay races, the athletes once again confirmed their strong form in international competition.
Eric Perrot got things underway in the men's 20 km individual race. With flawless shooting and a controlled race on the track, the Frenchman confidently secured the gold medal and underlined his current top form in the World Cup.
Julia Simon also provided another highlight: in the women's 12.5 km mass start, she once again proved her class. With high precision at the shooting range and a strong finish, she prevailed over the competition and won gold for France.
In addition to the individual successes, the team also impressed in the relay competitions.
The men's relay team with Fabien Claude, Quentin Fillon Maillet, Emilien Jacquelin and Oscar Lombardot secured the silver medal in the 4 × 7.5 km event.
The women's relay team, consisting of Lou Jeanmonnot, Oceane Michelon, Julia Simon and Camille Bened, also put in a strong team performance and won silver in the 4 × 6 km event.
At the end of the World Cup weekend, Eric Perrot was once again on the podium: he finished second in the men's 15 km mass start, rounding off an outstanding weekend for the French team.

French Team celebrates five podium finishes in Otepää
The penultimate Biathlon World Cup weekend of the 2025/2026 season in Otepää, Estonia, brought outstanding results for the French biathlon team. With five podium finishes, the athletes once again demonstrated their impressive form as the season approaches its final stage.
A highlight of the weekend was the women’s 7.5 km sprint, where Julia Simon delivered a flawless performance to claim victory and secure another World Cup win for France. Her teammate Lou Jeanmonnot completed the strong team result with a third-place finish, putting two French athletes on the podium.
In the men’s competitions, Émilien Jacquelin also impressed with consistent performances. He finished second in the 10 km sprint and followed it up with another silver medal in the 12.5 km pursuit, confirming his strong form in the closing phase of the season.
