
France's triumph in Lenzerheide: With RWS to No. 1
The Biathlon World Championships in Lenzerheide are considered the big highlight of the season - and last weekend brought this competition to a spectacular close.
The French team, which relies on the RWS Biathlon Competition and the RWS Biathlon Special Match, crowned itself the undisputed number 1 with an impressive performance.
With iron nerves, outstanding athletic strength and precise shooting performances, the athletes once again proved their class at the highest level.
The results of last weekend (22/23 February) at a glance:
- 4×6 km relay women: France took 1st place ahead of Norway and Sweden
- 4×7.5 km relay men: The team achieved 2nd place - behind Norway but ahead of Germany
- 12.5 km mass start women: Océane Michelon secured 2nd place for France.
Overall, France emerged as the clear winner of the World Championships with 13 medals (ahead of Norway with 9 medals and Sweden with 4 medals).

The 2024/25 Biathlon World Cup will run from November 2024 to March 2025 and includes 58 dates to be held at nine locations. The season highlight is the 2025 Biathlon World Championships in Lenzerheide.
