Your details will be processed by e-mail.
For technical reasons, encrypted transmission of your contact information cannot be guaranteed. This means that there is a theoretical possibility that data could be accessed or falsified by unauthorised persons.

Data processing for the purpose of contacting us is based on your voluntary consent. By clicking on the "Send" button, you consent to the processing of your contact information for the above-mentioned purposes. If you do not agree to this, you must cancel the process. The contact form will then not be sent and your data will not be processed.

The data entered in the contact form will therefore be processed exclusively on the basis of your consent. You can revoke
your consent at any time with effect for the future by contacting dataprotection@rws-tech.com.

We will only use your data to the extent necessary to process your enquiry and for further correspondence with you. The data collected by us for the use of the contact form will be stored by us for the purpose of processing the enquiry and in the event of follow-up questions and will be deleted
after your enquiry has been dealt with in accordance with data protection law, unless there is another legal obligation to retain the data.
  • Use of e-mail: We may use your name and e-mail address to send you notifications, updates, invitations to events and other information by e-mail. However, we will first ask for your consent to do so, unless we have already received your contact details from you in connection with our services. If you receive marketing communications from us and no longer wish to receive them, you can unsubscribe at any time by following the link provided in these emails. We may use external service providers to find out whether you open our emails or click on the links they contain. You can prevent this by making the appropriate settings in your e-mail client.
  • Newsletter: If you have given your consent to receive a newsletter, we may process your data collected in this context. When subscribing to the free RWS newsletter, the e-mail address, date and time of registration are stored. The data is processed on the basis of consent in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR.

The only mandatory information for sending the newsletter is your e-mail address. We may store your e-mail address for the purpose of sending you the newsletter. The legal basis is your consent. The provision of further, separately marked data and information is voluntary. They can be used for the purpose of addressing you personally and/or personalising the e-mail newsletter.

We have recorded your consent and are obliged to keep its content available for retrieval at all times.

If you register for an e-mail newsletter, the personal data and information provided by you and transmitted to us may be collected and stored by us electronically. The purpose of this processing is initially to carry out the so-called double opt-in procedure, with which you can consent to the regular sending of the e-mail newsletter. The registration system with an additional confirmation message (double opt-in) prevents fraudulent registration by third parties.

This means that after you have submitted your data and information, we will send you an e-mail to the e-mail address you have provided and ask you to confirm in this e-mail that you wish to receive the newsletter. If you do not confirm your registration, your data will be deleted.

After your confirmation, we save your IP address and the time of confirmation.

The purpose of this procedure is to verify your registration for the e-mail newsletter and, if necessary, to be able to recognise and prevent any possible misuse of your personal data. The legal basis is the protection of our legitimate interests or those of a third party.

We would like to point out that we can evaluate the behaviour of readers of our email newsletter. For this analysis, the emails sent contain so-called web beacons or tracking pixels. These web beacons or tracking pixels are one-pixel image files that are optionally provided by our service provider in order to measure the performance of our newsletters. The integration of the web beacon / tracking pixel as well as the evaluation of which links are clicked within the newsletter run via the servers of the service provider Mailchimp (Mailchimp: is operated by The Rocket Science Group LLC d/b/a Mailchimp, 675 Ponce de Leon Ave NE, Suite 5000, Atlanta, GA 30308 USA) and are assigned to your e-mail address and an individual ID for statistical and analytical purposes. The legal basis is your consent.

Further information about Mailchimp and Mailchimp's privacy policy can be found at mailchimp.com/legal/privacy

This tracking does not take place if you have deactivated the display of images in your e-mail programme by default. In this case, the newsletter will not be displayed in full and you may not be able to use all the functions. As soon as you display the images, the tracking described above will be activated.

The data collected during registration (e-mail address and voluntary information) will be deleted as soon as it is no longer required to fulfil the purpose for which it was collected. This is the case after cancellation of the newsletter or revocation of your consent. The personal data will then be irrevocably deleted. The legality of data processing operations that have already taken place and data that we have stored for other purposes (e.g. as part of a customer relationship, a prize draw, etc.) remain unaffected by this.

The data and information stored via the tracking function will be stored for as long as you have subscribed to the newsletter. After you unsubscribe or withdraw your consent, we store your data purely statistically and anonymously.

  • Online shop: You have the option of ordering goods via our website in our online shop as a customer or as a guest. Once you have registered, you can log in to our shop directly with your e-mail address and password in the event of a future order without having to enter your contact details again. Your personal data will be entered into an input mask and transmitted to us and stored.

If you place an order via our website, we collect personal data such as your title, first name, surname, email address, address and telephone number
when you register in our shop.

The processing of your entered personal data is necessary for the fulfilment of the contract or for the implementation of pre-contractual measures, for the fulfilment of a legal obligation, for the protection of the legitimate interests of RWS GmbH or a third party.

Otherwise, your data will only be processed if you have given your consent. You can revoke your consent at any time with effect for the future. Your personal data will be deleted when it is no longer required for the purposes stated, unless statutory retention obligations prevent this.

You can also place your orders as a guest without registering beforehand. In this case, however, you must re-enter your data for each subsequent order.

We process the information you provide as part of a guest order to fulfil the contract or to carry out pre-contractual measures. We store the information you provide for the period of processing and fulfilment of your order. Your data will then be deleted unless statutory retention obligations prevent this.

We may use various services from service providers for the operation and optimisation of our website and our services and for contract processing. It is necessary that the data required for the fulfilment of tasks, in particular for central IT services or the hosting of our website and for the delivery of products, is passed on to these companies.

When passing on your personal data in this respect, we always ensure the highest possible level of security.

We assure you that these service providers have been carefully selected and contractually bound by us beforehand. If a company works for us by way of order processing (e.g. for hosting the website), we guarantee that appropriate data protection precautions and data security measures have been agreed with the companies commissioned by us. We pass on the personal data required for the delivery of ordered goods, such as first name, surname, address, to logistics companies and the parcel/postal service provider specified in the order, such as DHL, DPD, UPS and Hermes. This is necessary in particular for the fulfilment of contracts and to protect our legitimate interests or those of a third party.
  • PayPal as a payment method: If you decide to pay with the online payment service provider PayPal as part of your order process, your contact details will be transmitted to PayPal as part of the order triggered in this way. PayPal is an offer from PayPal (Europe) S.à.r.l. & Cie. S.C.A., 22-24 Boulevard Royal, L-2449 Luxembourg. PayPal assumes the function of an online payment service provider as well as a trustee and offers buyer protection services.

The personal data transmitted to PayPal is usually first name, surname, address, telephone number, IP address, e-mail address or other data required for order processing, as well as data related to the order, such as number of items, item number, invoice amount and taxes in per cent, billing information, etc. This transmission is necessary to process your order with PayPal.

This transmission is necessary to process your order with the payment method you have selected, in particular to confirm your identity, to administer your payment and the customer relationship.

Please note that PayPal may also pass on personal data to service providers, subcontractors or other affiliated companies if this is necessary to fulfil the contractual obligations arising from your order or if the personal data is to be processed on our behalf.

Depending on the payment method selected via PayPal (e.g. invoice or direct debit), the personal data transmitted to PayPal will be transmitted by PayPal to credit agencies.

This transmission is used to check your identity and creditworthiness in relation to the order you have placed. You can find out which credit agencies are involved and which data is generally processed by PayPal in PayPal's privacy policy www.paypal.com/de/webapps/mpp/ua/privacy-full.

Depending on the area of activity, we may be obliged to check the company and/or its employees in detail.

If this is the case, we will notify you separately. We may then process personal data about you in order to improve our customer orientation, customer satisfaction and customer loyalty ("customer relationship management").
