RWS impresses with top-quality ammunition and strong performance
RWS was once again represented with its mobile test shooting range at the H&N Cup (21-26 January 2025). Under the professional supervision of Florian Schmidt and his team, numerous shooters took the opportunity to test their competition rifles with various RWS R10 Match ammunition lots. Even while the range was being set up, numerous shooters were asking when they could come to test. After the test stand was set up on Tuesday at 2:00 p.m., the test began immediately. As always, the test stand was very well attended and over 1.5 million R10s were sold. Together with the sponsorships, Florian Schmidt and his team gave a total of approximately 1.8 million RWS RWS R10 Match and 400,000 RWS Basic Diabolos to the shooters. By Saturday afternoon, all the pellets at the test stand were sold out, which speaks to the high quality of RWS airgun ammunition. Experience has shown that precise coordination between the weapon and the ammunition proves to be a decisive advantage in competition.

RWS test shooting range at the production site in Fürth
Perfect interaction between ammunition and firearm is crucial for the success of a marksman. The requirements for the precision of firearms and ammunition are therefore very high, especially since each barrel has its own characteristics. The competition firearm must be matched with the ammunition series and the optimal production batch must be found. And there is only one way to do this: testing, so that the purchase of the batch does not become a lottery.
Since 1985, experienced sport shooters have been taking advantage of the opportunity to select the ideal sport ammunition for their firearms at the RWS test shooting range at our production site in Fürth. We also offer dealers the service of having their customers' firearms optimally tuned to RWS ammunition.
