30 years of the RWS Shooty Cup – young talent meets the elite

On 28 August 2025, the RWS Shooty Cup celebrated its 30th anniversary!

For three decades, the Shooty Cup has been an integral part of the German Championships and marks the highlight of the shooting year for many young talents. In this unique competition, young shooters compete alongside prominent members of the national team – a unique experience full of team spirit, thrills and excitement.

RWS supported this traditional youth event in 2025 again with high-quality ammunition and donations in kind – in line with its commitment to promoting young talent in shooting sports.

As a long-standing partner of the German Shooting Federation (DSB), RWS is involved in shooting sports in Germany in a variety of ways. Whether in supporting the national squad, promoting young talent or in popular sport, RWS supports all performance levels with expertise, quality and individual advice. Close communication with athletes, clubs and coaches is just as much a part of this commitment as the continuous development of ammunition at the highest technical level.

Pure excitement and a real thriller finale

The qualification round was exciting right up to the last shot. Saxony performed incredibly well in the qualification round and confidently advanced to the final, where a real thriller finale unfolded. In the end, the team from South Baden won with nerves of steel, precision and a lead of just a few tenths of a point. Also among the top 3: Team Upper Palatinate. In the end, Christian Reitz & Hanna Bühlemeyer (Team South Baden) prevailed over Maximilian Ulbrich & Maxi Vogt (Team Saxony) and Maximilian Dallinger & Andreas Köppl (Team Upper Palatinate). ‘Goosebumps, applause – a shooting spectacle that you only experience once a year,’ is how the Hamburg Shooting Association describes it.
