In the interview, the long-time RWS athlete talks about his strong start into the new Olympic cycle – including another bronze medal at the World Cup in Osijek – and his motivation to continue competing at the highest level, even after his Olympic success.
“I’m looking forward to the upcoming competitions this year. It’s a long season, but I’m motivated and ready to keep going at this level.”
A key topic of the conversation was his close connection to RWS ammunition, which he has relied on since the very beginning of his career:
“I started with RWS since I started with shooting – I like it the best, the feeling is pretty good. With this ammunition you can easily do high scores, it’s very accurate and constant.”
Especially under competition pressure, Maričić counts on consistent quality:
“It’s the best ammunition for me because it’s a little bit more heavy. It works under pressure, it works in training – it’s the best I’ve ever tried, and I’m looking forward to continue shooting with it.”
